Effective Date: May 1, 2026
1. Agreement
By enrolling in A-Star Foundation programs, the parent/guardian confirms they are the legal guardian, grants permission for the student to participate in all program activities, and agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.
2. Programs & Services
A-Star Foundation provides enrichment in math, computer science, and related fields. Participation does not guarantee specific academic outcomes, competition results, or advancement. Program details, schedules, instructors, and sessions are subject to change, rescheduling, or cancellation due to low enrollment, instructor availability, or unforeseen circumstances. Families will be notified in advance whenever possible.
3. Fees & Refunds
All program fees must be paid according to the stated schedule. Program fees, cancellation terms, and refund policies will be provided at registration. A-Star Foundation reserves the right to modify or cancel programs as needed.
4. Code of Conduct
Students are expected to attend sessions on time, behave respectfully, and follow all program rules. Disruptive behavior, harassment, academic dishonesty, or unsafe conduct may result in removal from the program without refund.
5. Intellectual Property
All course materials, including recordings, worksheets, and curriculum, are the property of A-Star Foundation and may not be copied, shared, or distributed without permission.
6. Media Release
By enrolling, the parent/guardian grants permission for A-Star Foundation to photograph, record, and use the student’s name, image, voice, or likeness for educational and promotional purposes in print or digital media. No compensation will be provided for such use.
7. Privacy Policy
A-Star Foundation collects student and parent/guardian information for communication, program administration, research, and marketing purposes. We do not sell personal information. We may share information only with trusted service providers as necessary to operate our programs.
8. Communication Consent
By registering, you agree to receive program-related communications (e.g., email and SMS).
9. Medical Treatment
In the event of an emergency, A-Star Foundation may seek appropriate medical care for the student if a parent/guardian cannot be reached.
10. Non-Discrimination
A-Star Foundation does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California.
