The Mirzakhani Circle is a collaborative program between A-Star Foundation and AlphaStar Academy designed to empower talented female students in grades 6–12 across the San Francisco Bay Area. The program brings together students who are passionate about mathematics and math competitions, helping them grow through community, mentorship, and shared learning experiences.
The program offers monthly online practice sessions led by volunteers and guest lecturers, alongside quarterly in-person gatherings such as lectures, social events, and community-building activities. Together, these opportunities create an inspiring environment that encourages collaboration, leadership development, and long-term engagement in STEM.
Eligible students are female middle and high school students residing in the Bay Area who are interested in competitive mathematics and eager to be part of a supportive peer community.
